Rowan & Co. was founded by Lisa Carroll following more than two decades working across sophisticated membership, hospitality, workspace, investor networks and relationship-led businesses in the UK and internationally.
Lisa’s career has taken her through senior leadership positions and entrepreneurial environments where commercial success depends on much more than a strong product or proposition.
It depends on understanding people, building trust, developing meaningful partnerships and creating the right conditions for a business to grow.
Her experience includes senior roles with organisations including AllBright, Capital Club Dubai, Babington House, Workspace Group PLC and Keiretsu Forum, alongside more recent advisory and project work with businesses including INTRIC, Alite Global, The Female Advisory Board, Women’s Business Club, Business Unbound and Creator Brunch Club.
Today, through Rowan & Co., Lisa works with founders and leadership teams at different stages of their journey. This can mean acting as a strategic adviser, supporting a defined commercial or market development project, representing an organisation within a particular network or market, or becoming more closely involved for a defined period where additional senior leadership is required.
She also accepts a select number of Non-Executive Director and Advisory Board appointments.

Lisa brings more than 20 years of international experience across sophisticated membership organisations, private members’ clubs, hospitality, workspace, investor networks, business communities and founder-led businesses.
She has held senior leadership positions and worked with businesses at different stages of development, from established international organisations to early-stage ventures and emerging concepts.
Her experience spans strategy, commercial development, partnerships, membership, operations, investor relations, governance and leadership.
That combination means she understands both the strategic questions around the table and the practical realities of turning decisions into something that works.
