Rowan & Co. was founded by Lisa Carroll following more than two decades working across premium membership, hospitality, workspace, investor networks and relationship-led businesses in the UK and internationally.
Lisa’s career has taken her through senior leadership positions and entrepreneurial environments where commercial success depends on much more than a strong product or proposition. It depends on understanding people, building trust, creating meaningful partnerships and developing the structures that allow a business to grow without losing what made it valuable in the first place.
Her experience includes senior roles with organisations including AllBright, Capital Club Dubai, Babington House, Workspace Group PLC and Keiretsu Forum, alongside more recent advisory and fractional work with businesses including Intric Global, Alite Global, Business Unbound, The Female Advisory Board and Women’s Business Club.
Today, through Rowan & Co., Lisa works with founders and leadership teams at different stages of their journey, sometimes as a strategic adviser, sometimes as a fractional operator, sometimes on a defined commercial or growth project, and selectively as a Non-Executive Director or Advisory Board member.

Lisa brings together two perspectives that are not always found in the same room: the strategic and the operational. She is comfortable working at board level and discussing positioning, growth, partnerships and long-term strategy, but equally comfortable getting into the detail required to make those decisions work in practice.
Her approach is collaborative, commercially grounded and relationship-led. She works best with ambitious founders and leadership teams who value experience, judgement and an independent perspective, and who want someone who will genuinely engage with the business rather than simply provide a set of recommendations.

Lisa has held senior leadership positions and undertaken advisory and fractional engagements across the UK and international markets, giving her a practical understanding of what it takes to build, operate and grow relationship-led businesses. Her experience spans strategy, commercial development, partnerships, membership, operations, governance and leadership.
The result is a perspective that connects the boardroom with the day-to-day reality of running a business.
